THE LACROSSE VILLAGE INITIATIVE
ABOUT US
The Lacrosse Village Initiative consists of high school and club lacrosse teams working together to provide relief for healthcare workers and community members in the Greater Philadelphia Area who are impacted by COVID-19. This project was started by the coaches at Eyekonz Sports, Shipley Girls Lacrosse and Conestoga Girls Lacrosse in early April. Through the initiative, we donate Family Meal Kits to local food pantries, Appreciation Kits composed of snacks, bandanas, and notes to healthcare workers at local hospitals and other healthcare facilities, Hygiene Kits to shelters, masks to local hospitals and cash donations to Philabundance. We have worked to build a community of volunteers - and we hope that you can help to grow that community! Remember IT TAKES A VILLAGE!
